About Me

I received my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2002.  Upon graduation, I began providing adult, family, and children’s counseling services in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  I quickly became passionate about working with children and play therapy.  I continued this path when I moved to Northwest Arkansas and provided school based services in the Fayetteville School District.  I have been in private practice since 2017 specializing in children under 12 but also providing services to parents and individuals.

I am a client -centered therapist using a combination of gestalt, cognitive behavioral, and play therapy techniques.  My emphasis is on my relationship with the client that allows for personal healing and growth. I believe all persons including children can move towards wholeness and well being.  I believe in the power of play for children!
